Bathroom and kitchen plumbing
Overview
An apartment bathroom and kitchen in terrazzo and walnut: a wall hung pan, a rain shower, and a brass gooseneck at the kitchen sink. Apartment water pressure and a concrete slab set the limits, so the work started with what the building could give us.

Project Details
Before we chose a single fitting we measured the pressure and flow at the apartment’s meter. A rain shower wants volume, so we sized the supply to suit and fitted a head rated for the pressure the building actually has, not the pressure on a brochure.
The wall hung pan’s cistern and the shower waste both had to reach the stack through a slab we could not cut, so Fennick Building Group built the bathroom floor up just enough for the falls. In the kitchen the brass gooseneck sits on the terrazzo with its supply tucked behind the walnut.
The strata manager signed off our isolation plan before any water was turned off.
